W A Agnew/C N Goodall Award

The William Alexander Agnew Meritorious Award/Clarence Noel Goodall Award is funded from the Trust for Education and Research

Trust conditions

Bequest (£250) under the Will of the late W A Agnew (1985), Past-President, ILocoE. Bequest (£200) under the Will of the late C N Goodall (1962), (member, ILocoE 1913-1957). These two Prizes have been amalgamated and the titles may be used either alternatively or in combination.

Award conditions

An award for a meritorious paper on the subject of railway engineering or for a contribution or for achievement in that field. Open to Mmbers and non-members of the Institution.

One or more can be chosen up to the £1,000 budget allocation from the following five Prize Serials:

• Richard Herbert Innes Prize (Serial 218)
• W A Agnew/ C N Goodall Award (Serial 313)
• A R Bennett Premium / C S Lake (Serial 314)
• T A Stewart-Dyer / F Trevithick (Serial 315)
• J F Alcock Memorial Prize (Serial 328)

N.B. No prize should be less than £100.
