Bequest under the Will of Mrs Kate Eleanor Mary Whitelegg as a memorial to her late husband, S H Whitelegg, Council Member, ILocoE 1913-1944.

Award conditions

Grants to be made for the encouragement of the study of locomotive engineering.  Available to members of any category under the age of 32 to be applied as a travel scholarship (Authority: Trustee Board Awards Committee minutes M17/89).  A biennial scholarship.
