EngTech registration is crucial in demonstrating that technicians and engineers have the skills and experience to work to the highest standard.
The EngTech Visionary Award recognises individuals who have made a significant contribution to the sector by promoting EngTech registration.
As an individual you must have made a significant contribution to promoting EngTech registration in either an engineering role or roles such as manager, supervisor, lecturer, mentor, trainer, HR professional or advisor.
You need to be able to demonstrate your direct involvement in growing and promoting the Institution’s EngTech registration. This could include activities such as:
The winner will receive a plaque and certificate. The winner will also benefit from the industry-wide recognition gained as a result of winning this prestigious award.
To be eligible you must be a current member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

Applications can be made by a company employee, or colleagues in the engineering community who have knowledge of your achievements.
500 words of supporting copy are required to enter the award with accompanying photographic or diagrammatic evidence and third party endorsement if appropriate.
The application must be signed by a sponsor who supports your application.
